What is the SWE Region H Conference?

The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) Region H Conference is an annual event attended by collegiate and professional members of Region H. The Region H conference supports diversity in engineering, provides networking opportunities with prominent companies and includes personal, professional, and SWE development activities. The theme for the 2015 Conference is “the Brains and the Beauty.”


When is the conference?

The conference will be held March 6th and 7th, 2015.


Where is the conference?

The 2015 SWE Region H Conference will be held in South Bend, Indiana at the University of Notre Dame. We will be utilizing University facilities including the Debartolo Hall, Stinson-Remick Hall, and the South Dining Hall. Who attends the conference?

About 500 aspiring collegiate and 200 thriving professional SWE engineers attend the conference each year. In addition, Region H Leadership and corporate sponsors attend and support the conference.


What is Region H?

Region H includes SWE sections of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. It is the largest region of SWE with about 2,800 members, 45 university sections, and 13 professional sections. Please visit the SWE Region H website for more information.

Where is South Bend, IN located?
